Identity System

For this project, we were tasked with creating our own "identity system" that included creating our own brand. We were tasked with creating a  coherent and clean design for a business card, letterhead, and resume.

Book Cover Redesign

Tasked with redesigning a book cover, I chose The Hunger Games. The book is full of colorful descriptions of "the girl on fire" but the original black cover doesn't convey that. Here, I wanted Katniss in her armor with a fiery orange background.

Magazine Cover and Table of Contents

Tasked with inventing a magazine about anything, I choose bathrooms. It is one of the most important rooms in any house or building yet, no one talks about it. I created fake headlines based on what I would want to feature in the magazine and what would grab someone's attention at a supermarket.

Magazine Spreads

To extend our magazine even further, we created two spreads that were supposed to feature a story from within the magazine. I choose bathroom photography which has become increasingly popular in recent months. 

The article is made of fake text, but was provided to mark where the text would go using this layout. 

Cause Poster

For the cause poster project I expressed my disappointment with the lack of punk rock in the music scene. 

UX/UI News Site Design

For our final project, I created my own news site, Tea Spill, with a millennial audience in mind. I created the layout for use on an iPad in both vertical and horizontal layouts.
