Like Tinder, but for election season!
We envisioned our app to take bias news coverage, popularity, and rumors out of the equation and just focus on a candidate's plans. We wanted a way for people to understand a candidate based solely on their campaign.
Our Match Me game hopes to allow people to read through different opinions without a face or name next to them so they can make an undiluted decision based on their own unique beliefs. Then, matchVote would take the data and match them with candidates that have similar beliefs and opinions so they can vote for who represents them.
MatchVote would also configure all the data into graphs and show the user how they stack up against others similar to them.
Main Screen
We created this main screen as the dashboard for our app. Here, users could see what issues are on the ballot, take a deeper look into each candidate, play our match game, find polling stations, and more.
Additionally, the user's profile at the top right will show all the data collected based on the match game, location, and how they swiped.
